    Default Mama Bear Soaps

Was just wondering if anyone has tried these soaps. Seems to have a lot of interesting scents. Wanted to see if others liked before I spend the money.

    Default Mama Bear Soaps

    Hello, Bnick:

Our good friend Matt says it all about Mama Bear soaps. I use the unscented, and like it a great deal. Good stuff. Also, soap mistress and proprietor Sue Clark is charming and has excellent service.

    Regards,
    Obie

Same here. I use her Lime Ice shaving soap and Lime Ice Aftershave Balm. Both are great.

I regret to say that the only MamaBear soap I have tried is one that I got for free in a drawing at the MN meetup two years ago. I regret it only because this woman deserves more business! Unfortunately, with the way I use my soap, I fear that I already own more soap than I will use in my lifetime.

I have her Northwoods soap. I really like the scent, but for my preference, it's residual scent might be too strong. I base that solely on the fact that I can still smell it on myself late in the afternoon. Now, regarding the shaving quality of the soap, I think it is fantastic. I have only used a few glycerine soaps, but I can unhesitatingly state that hers is the best I have used.
