It took a little bit to work up a lather, but was very dense and super slick. The smell reminded me of a medicinal almost Lysol concentrate type sent not unpleasant just brought back memories of mom cleaning the house. The cushion provided during the shave felt equal to TOBS. This has been the first cream to not dry out during my shave as I take up to 20 min so that was very nice. My skin afterward felt very well hydrated. Overall I liked the experience.

Yes it was a vintage tube it was stamped 1942 on the fold. I am almost certain I will not use it again as after using it and doing a little research I found that the tube is made of lead. Maybe that's what made the razor glide so nice across my skin.
