+1 to the above, I got the rose scent because i never had it before, and it smells great! With the sample, i will get many shaves, cuz a little goes a long way. It whips up nice and has plenty of slip/glide and after the final rinse the skin feels moisturized. Thanks again

I got a sample of the Cedarwood-Lemongrass from a PIF Matt earlier.
I used a half an almond sized dollop to face lather. This was enough for 2 passes. Lather built up quickly and had a nice consistency.
Shave quality was excellent, on par with some of the best (closest) shaving creams and soaps I have tried.
Skin felt good afterwards, no tightness, drying, or raw feeling.
Scent is more like Castle Forbes cedar/sandalwood than Charles Tyrwhitt lemon and cedar.
Great product, Definitely one of the best Artisan shave products I have tried.

How would you guys describe it. Is it a soap, or a cream. Some soaps, Like Xpec and some triple milled have a cream like, or whipped consistency, which is very nice.
I believe I'm getting a sample for review.We have assumed control !

I rec. a 5 pack sampler also. So far I've sampled the Lavender and Vostok. Love the Vostok (heavy menthol). Great product, good lather, excellent glide, easy on my face. Briar, Kiwi Lime or Rose will be up tonight. I'd say it's close to Cella in consistency maybe not quite as dense.

Thanked: 0I got a sample of celestial woods, vostok and lavender the other week and love all 3. If you like menthol give Vostok a try as it is like sticking your head out a moving car in -30 deg weather. The celestial woods I love, and has a very nice piney woodsy smell, reminds me of when I was backpacking in the Adirondacks. Lavender is classic. Love it, for some od reason whenever I smell lavender it reminds me of old tattoo parlors I use to go to. They all make great thick and slick lather. I would defiantly reccomend at least getting a sampler. I know when mines out I'll be order full tubes plus another sampler of the other scents

Briar reminds me of the old black cherry pipe tobacco. A pretty nostalgic scent for me. It starts a little sweet (vanilla) turns to cherry and finishes with a hint of cavendish. I'm not very sophisticated when it comes to scents and taste. Things fall into 3 categories, I like it, it's o.k. and it sucks. I like this scent, it's comfortable.
