    Default Soap Concoctions?

I know that we all have tried mixing various creams and soaps as it can be done easily.

I was wondering if anyone has tried grating different soaps into the same container. It seems logical that someone would have tried this already. I can only imagine a Mitchell's Wool Fat/Pre De Provence Combo Puck!

All of my soaps are currently caked down into their respective containers as I grate them and re-pack them or I would try this now.

Just curious if anyone has done this and what the results were?

This is known as rebatching or milling. It is routinely done in many high end soaps (triple milled). Typically, soapmakers do not mix 2 or more commercial soaps but the process is identical. The results can be incredible!!!!! you just need to know what to mix .

I've done it with TGQ sample soaps, I mixed all of them together...I actually melted her soaps..They are the glycerine based, so this is possible...Came out good...pretty unique fragrance....Plus, the larger puck is better than 5 small ones...
    Have fun with it....

I would be interested to hear how the Mitchell's Wool Fat/Pre de Provence mix turns out as I really like the Pre de Provence soap but the Mitchell's soap is difficult to lather with the hard water.

    Thanks,
    Mike
