    Default Lathering aid for soap

I like shaving soap, but with the dry winter air, it tends to dry out on my face. Also, it takes time to generate a good soap lather in the shaving bowl, although this varies according to brand.

So here’s a trick for making quicker, thicker shaving soap lather that holds moisture longer: Add a dollop of Corn Huskers Lotion to your shaving bowl. I think the operative agent in the lotion is glycerin, which is the second ingredient listed on the label.
