That was until I started to über lathering with their brushless cream. Then it really got the best of both. The lack of lubrication and thinness of the soap the cream picked up. The mix comes out thick lubricating and doesn't dry. It's my favorite über lather. The scent has always been my favorite too!
Now that is a win win combination! Double O
Cade was very finicky for me at the outset. I live in a hard water area and found the lather thin with no real protection. Following the advice of others, I combined it with the cream, which although transformed the performance, detracted heavily from the amazing scent of the soap. With trial and patience, I have dispensed with the cream and can get the soap alone to perform wonderfully. I wet the surface of the puck with my finger half a dozen times, hold my brush under running hot water for 30 seconds, then a gentle shake to remove, but not all, of the water. I load my brush for a minute(min). I scoop up all the remaining soap on the puck, add it to the brush, then face lather. The interesting thing about Cade is that when you think you have thin lather, add more water and it thickens nicely. Cade has now become one of my best performing veggie soaps, and definitely one I shall never be without.
