Default Is there a cream like Mitchell’s Wool Fat soap?

Does anyone know a cream (tube) similar to MWF soap?
Not just a cream with lanolin, but with the same scent as well.

And if there is none, which cream (tube) with lanolin would you recommend as a good quality cream?

    Thank you.

    Slur,

I have not heard of one with the same scent as MWF.

As Victor has said, Musgo Real is a lanolin containing cream, with (for me) very fine performance and a super scent !

Good luck in your quest !

    Have fun !

    Best regards

    Russ

PS you could make your own by finely grating some MWF, and then mashing it into a paste with some glycerin & water ?

I just finished making the MWF cream!

    It was not easy.
It was very difficult to mix the soap with the water or the glycerin.

I put the piece of soap in the big bowl; I added a lot of glycerin, and some water.
I started to mix with a spoon.
Then I put the bowl in the microwave and it all melt.
Then I took it out and it was like milk.

I continued to rotate the spoon in the bowl for approximately 15 minutes until it suddently became dense like a cream. I continued to mix everything with the spoon for 3-5minutes, and when the cream was ready and cold I put it in a small mug.

Tomorrow I will try my Mitchell’s Wool Fat Cream!

+1 on the Musgo Real. It's lanolin based, and probably closest. Some folks have reported skin irritation when using it....

I'm anxiously awaiting the results of the homemade MWF cream.

In fact, I was just thinking that I can't believe MWF hasn't attempted this themselves. They'd be sitting on a goldmine if they could combine all the best aspects of their soap and turn it into a nice thick traditional shaving cream (think the consistency of CF)! A guy can dream, I guess.

I just shaved with the cream and had an excellent result.

The cream easily creates leather, which seems of thicker consistence than the leather of the soap. It is more “fatty” as well.
It does not dry out if you are a slow shaver as I am. I have noticed in the past that the leather of the MWF soap dries out in the face sometimes. This didn’t happen with the cream.

If you are a MWF lover, but you prefer creams over soaps, this is a very good idea.

Ingrams cream is another lanolin cream that works great for me. It has a healthy dose of menthol so if that is not your thing, you may not like it.
