Thread: Favorite Non-Tallow soaps

I'd take them over most tallow based soaps.

+1 for Martin de Candre - the "top of the cream" (or should that saying be re-defined? ) but also Creed - for me the Original Vetiver fragrance.

I also think Geo F Trumper's Rose is worth a mention. A very good lather from an entirely vegetable-based soap.

For me it would have to be

For me of the dozens I have tried, it is Institute Karite.

Martin de Candre, my absolute fav

Truefitt and Hill Luxury, great lavender scent and easy lather

klar kabinett works fantastically....if you dont mind rose scented soaps and dont mind a 500 gram chunk of soap that lasts a long time.

Martin de Candre (fougère) - only non-tallow I've kept for more than 5-10 shaves (other than TGQ soap which I used to really enjoy too...). Of those I've tried, they're the only two that have impressed me enough to have ever held a long-standing place in my rotation.
