Thread: Castle Forbes lavander VS AOS Lavander

I want to buy a lavander cream but I esitate between those two. I'd like to get comments on the scent. I know the how great they lather but besides that...
Any other suggestions of lavander cream are welcome.

I'd vote for Castle Forbes of those two. It is great cream and wonderful scent.

The other lavender cream I like is Taylors of Old Bond Street. It is an amazing cream and a great lavender scent. It is about half the price of the CF and performs at least as well. I would say the scent is better than AOS and is different from CF. CF is a strong pure lavender whereas TOBS is a cleaner lavender smell.

For me it is about a tie between CF and TOBS if you consider price in the equation and AOS comes in third. Though you really can't go wrong with any of those three.

Two words for you: Castle & Forbes in that order!

Seriously, go w/ the CF--just about the best lubrication/cushion out there & typically you only use around half as much per shave as most others, so on a per-use basis, it may actually be cheaper than the AOS cream.
