Default Mama Bear's- A beautiful dilema indeed

I've been using VDH deluxe for a few months now and have gotten pretty good at lathering. However, I find myself searching and searching for some real fragrance, something to wake up my nostrils in the morning.

I think I'm going to give mama bear's soaps a try, since I have heard nothing but good things about them from almost everywhere. However, I am in the most excellent predicament that one could be in: I can't decide what scent to choose!

    A couple that I'm considering:

Mandarin Ice, Lime Ice, and Lemon Ice- I have pretty tough skin and like the feel of mentholated things.

    Regular lime and lemon

    Orange Orange

    Caribbean.

I really like citrus scents and with summer time coming up can't wait for fresh fruit to be rolling in. I'm also a fan of lavender scents. Anyone got some suggestions?

    Peace,
    Conor

Polynesian Red. Her description is very accurate. Pomegranate, pineapple, and maybe grapefruit. Very tropical and a great summer scent. Toasted Coconut obviously is not a fruity scent but a great one for summer anyway.

    Default Mama Bear's scents

I haven't tried any of the ones on your list, but really like Marauders Citrus (it is in the Essential Oil list) and like - not "really like", but still pretty nice - Spicy Lime.

Sorry to add more noise to your decision, but you can hardly go wrong with any of them.

I would take Ye Olde BarbersHoppe.smells like the old days barber.
Or dragon blood is a nice smell.

Better...... buy 2 or 3 tubs of soap.( or buy a tub + some samples)
    I think they're all great.

Well, crap. They're out of the bacon scented stuff. I ordered a tub of it for my Canuckian uncle for Christmas. I don't know that he's ever used it but he did send me a tape measure with both SAE and metric measurements on it in return, so I was happy...

You could go for this instead: Pot Roast Dinner Shaving Soap : Mama Bears Soaps and Gift Shop , Mama Bears Shaving Soaps and Bath Products for the Discerning Gentleman and Lady

Mama Bear’s AWAKENING is definitely my all time favorite glycerin based soap – and I’ve got well over a dozen.

It lathers great, smells great, and feels oh soooooooo good!

    You gotta try AWAKENINGS.

+1 if you like the Menthol stuff Awakening is a must.. also in the essential oils area is the Rosemary Mint which has a lovely cooling affect due to the peppermint extract in it.

as others have said you really can't go wrong with Mama Bears ( unless you have an allergy to the oils or base )
