I bought the Mama Bears Essential Oil line Patcholi, a Dragon Tears soap puck, and an Orange Citrus scent puck and have been very pleased with all of them.

    Excellent Service and excellent product.

i'm in the process of finding my favorite soaps and mama bear's has been OUTSTANDING so far. I literally have about 30 sample packets from her because I wanted to try any and every one that looked good.

my favorite so far is her Polo Player Blue. it's an interpretation of Ralph Lauren's Polo Blue cologne (my favorite cologne) and while it's not an in your face citrus smell it's partially a collection of citrus smells. it's my go-to summer cologne for all occasions and now will be my summer shaving scent

    Red face

Dragon's Blood.. meh. I think those dragons were subsisting on a diet consisting almost entirely of flowers. Probably cruelly confined to cages in some seedy Chinese rural village and raised solely for the industrial blood-letting. Not the kind of industry I want to support.

"Awakenings" is a must. I have the "Clary Sage & Lavender" from early '08 and there is no detectable lavender.

Well, I'm happy to say that I have ordered a few samples from Mama Bear's and am waiting patiently for them to arrive. I decided to try six total:
    -Awakenings
    -Polynesian Red
    -Lemon Ice
    -Mandarin Ice
    -Energy Glycerin
    -Ye Olde Barbershoppe

Can't wait to give them a try. I really wish they would make one that impersonates Polo Black, since that is my favorite fragrance. I'm pretty sure it's a combo of "iced" mango, silver armoise, and patchouli noir, if anyone knows some combo similar to that that'd be great!

You will not regret the smell Ye Olde BarbersHoppe
The rest I do not know, because I have those not yet in my collection.

So last week when I started reading this thread I was jonesing after some MWF, but not having $50 to get a puck in the cool container it comes in, I decided I'd hit up some Mama Bears. I've bought a few samples from them and enjoyed every one. Here in the Shenandoah Valley it has a tendency to get hot and humid and stay that way for a good portion of the summer so I was thinking a nice mentholated soap would be nice. I have, use, and enjoy Proraso cream but it's not the most summery feeling soap so I ordered a container of the Lime Ice soap (along with a shave stick of the Sandalwood Vanilla to travel with or try and swoon the wife with). It came in this afternoon and I happily took it to my face tonight after the kids were in bed. let me just say "Holy Wow!" that stuff is amazing. The scent wasn't quite as Limey as I was hoping but it has a distinct Lime scent to it and unlike Proraso, it doesn't smell minty. But hot dang, that stuff feels amazing. After a day at work with a migraine and everything that could go wrong did (short of me being fired, someone else quitting or dieing), I'm ready to kick butt and take names!

Mama Bears is good stuff. I too was going to recommend "Polynesian Red" to the OP. All her soaps are winners. The produce, and have great fragrances. You won't be disappointed. Also, Try LaOcctaine. I recently picked up a puck online, WoW....Lather overload....It really takes a lot for a soap to impress me, and this one did not disappoint.....

The Lather that mama bear brings is always good, and the smell that is almost always close to the original smell.
    By the way:

Did you know that Mama Bear has added new soap. example. Iceburg and Givenchy pour homme.<--- I think this is great, such as the after shave.
The Phoenix Rising from The Ashes is also great. I think this is a must if you like M bear soap

I also just got in a tub of CarrieM's Lime cream, and must say the lather is fantastic, and the scent isn't overdone or unnatural. It really smells like fresh squeezed limes! It's my first chance I've had to make an attempt at uberlather, so we'll see how it goes!

When I ordered those samples they also threw in a free sample of Phoenix Rising, which I thought to be extremely generous of them. Gonna give the lather a try tonight and see how it goes!

If you paypal her $1 you can sample any soap you would like. $1 for ever scent sample. Just an FYI
