Thanks again. Last year I bought my mom the Sheep soapdish for mothers day, she got a real kick out of it : )

Just an update, I received my MWF in ceramic dish yesterday and it lathered up great. Connaught Shaving comes highly recommended by me!

The lather started to dry a bit later in my shave but nothing that wont be fixed by a minor adjustment next time. I love this soap compared to my other 3

I've long been a fan of Connaught Shaving, though I didn't even know Paul sold on eBay. Every time people talk about how expensive MWF is, I try to bring up Connaught.

There is another site that does MWF with free shipping for UK customers. International shipping is very reasonable too (or so I hear). From time to time, there are 15% off special offers as well. Site is called Badger and Hone, but I won't post a link, in case I break any rules.

+1 on Connaught though. Reliable and fast dispatch.

They also have the bath soap, which is awesome. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. It has become a staple for me. Smells wonderful, and makes loads of rich, creamy, sudsy lather....
Their prices are in pounds, not euros. They give you a 20% discount if you live outside the European Union, as their sales tax (VAT) is included in the price. I stocked it in case tallow keeps on disappearing: 6 shaving soaps including 1 in a bowl and 3 bath soaps. I'll be set for years (unless I like the bath soap...).

I received my MWF today and was impressed with the lather. My lather didn't turn out as good as the video, but then again... I am still using a cheap brush that is too soft this a soap this hard. So far it looks like my two favorite soaps are MWF and the SRD shaving soap. Has anyone ever tried adding glycerine to MWF?

I found some pretty good success with the soap by loading the brush with some warm water, swishing it ontop of the soap then closing the lid of the ceramic dish while I took a shower. This kept the moisture and 'heat' locked in pretty well and the soap was nice and soft when I went to lather - even in a bowl. (I see many people say they need to face lather)

I agree with what Rich said above, and have been using the bath soap for probably a year now
