Default Pretty good deal on MWF

I wanted to share a deal I found yesterday on MWF. I know the price sometimes deters people from giving it a shot, as it had done to me for a while.

Normally, with the ceramic dish, the soap runs between $40-50 USD + shipping and the refills are about 20.

I found a source on ebay (from the UK) where I ordered the soap in ceramic dish for a total of $37 shipped to the US. The refills, after currency conversion end up being $13 I believe. There is also an option to get the soap in a wooden dish for a little bit less than ceramic, I think around 25 USD.

Ebay store for this is 'Connaught Shaving' - has over 4,000 sales with 100% feedback rating so I assume it's the real deal but I'll update once I receive my item.

I got my MWF from there, very reasonable. Haven't got MWF from anywhere else, but it shaved pretty damn well. and got the oak bowl, which is pretty good as well. cheapest place I've found for it. If I'd known it was so expensive in the US I would've posted when I got it

    regards Alex

Thank you for the heads up, I just placed an order. You are right, the price was causing me to wait on MWF. I ordered the soap dish and an extra refill. I an hoping they will combine shipping which will make the price even better.

    Thanks again...

I purchased mine from their site, and they have a fairly large selection at very low prices,

Wow it's almost a ripoff to buy this stuff from the US looking at these prices, nearly 40% off. Thanks for the links, it's strange that Connaught Shaving sells the same products on ebay at a slightly higher price. Oh well - probably for the paypal and ebay fees

Here's another good one in the UK. MWF in the Ceramic dish is 14.57euros. (about 20 usd) Wingham Wool Work - Quality Fibres and Accessories

They also have the bath soap, which is awesome. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. It has become a staple for me. Smells wonderful, and makes loads of rich, creamy, sudsy lather....
