The brick is a soap, the bowl contains a shaving cream. Confirmend by the producer.

It is my belief the difference in the packaging effects the way it is cured.


I have the small one, in the red bowl, and it is soap, not a cream.
Maybe stored for years in the drugstore and became harder?
