    Slur,

Awesome brush, I've heard great things. Like the scuttle too, where'd you pick that one up?

This is a German XL scuttle.
It is called “schwarzweisskeramik” and it is impossible to pronounce.
I bought it from here: Schwarzweisskeramik
    I like it very much.

Here is a presentation if you are interested:

Omega boar and Haslinger Coconut. I have used many soaps, including VDH, Nana June's, Honeybee, Crabtree and Evelyn, Provence Sante, Pre de Provence, Mama Bears, T&H, DR Harris, Art of Shaving. Haslinger has the densest soap with the most glide that I have seen.

Both provide ridiculous amounts of lather, offer great cushion, glide, etc...Also, They both seem to eat up water . Now, they may seem expensive to buy, but if you look at it from a per serving cost, it's not.

Caraceni comes in an 8.5oz tub, Xpec is 5.3. Both are a great value. If your going to spoil yourself, and splurge on a great shave cream, You can't go wrong with either.

If memory serves, Xpec is currently unavailable anywhere. I believe it will be back around Sept 2011

    P.S. The brush is a Simpson PJ2
Is that like a hollow jug thing? Do you put hot water in it and make up cream in the top or is it for soap? I've been resting my bowl in the sink, with hot water comming up to just below the edge to keep it warm (it's cold at the moment in the mornings)...I might need a scuttle if you can use it for cream...
