Thanked: 4942Favorite Suds on Brush
Had a thought.......scary eh........
So what does your favorite suds maker look like on your brush. Pics will be very cool. Badger brush, Boars hair, what ever. No Uberlather though, just your favorite suds maker. Soap or cream, whatever. Why is it your favorite.
This should be good. I'll try to post a pic tommorrow.

Well I am still new and experimenting so I will list my most current. I am currently using a T&H best badger brush with their rose shave cream. I can say that I do prefer creams over hard soaps, so far. But I still have most of your SRD samples and love the Opus-X sent. And I have already made requests for soaps and creams for Christmas, birthdays and other gifting holidays.

Just happened to have this pic lying around from a previous post. The lather is from Xpec.
Caraceni and Xpec are my top two, equal in all areas, but different fragrances, Fragrances that last.
Both provide ridiculous amounts of lather, offer great cushion, glide, etc...Also, They both seem to eat up water . Now, they may seem expensive to buy, but if you look at it from a per serving cost, it's not.
Caraceni comes in an 8.5oz tub, Xpec is 5.3. Both are a great value. If your going to spoil yourself, and splurge on a great shave cream, You can't go wrong with either.
If memory serves, Xpec is currently unavailable anywhere. I believe it will be back around Sept 2011
P.S. The brush is a Simpson PJ2Last edited by zib; 06-02-2011 at 08:32 PM.

Simpsons PJ2 in two-band super silver tip badger paired with SRD's West Indies Bay.
OOPS! I forgot to add why I like it. The aroma is great, period. But, the lubricity is wonderful. It washes off clean after the shave, too.Last edited by GeauxLSU; 06-06-2011 at 12:03 AM.
I strop my razor with my eyes closed.
