    Default AOS cream vs. soap

I have been using AOS sandlewood cream for a while now and have been getting some razor burn after my shave but nice BBS results. I was wondering if shave soap might be better to use to prevent this, I was not sure the benifits of using soaps compaired to creams. Also, I love the scent of the sandalwood so I was also wondering if the soap is as strong as the cream. Thanks for all opinions, i have scene thats alot of people prefer soap to cream and I was wondering what they felt the benifits where.

I don't think soap offer's any more protection than cream, If anything, less imho. Soap tends to be thinner and gives you better feedback from your blade. Creams tend to be thicker offering more protection, Now, YMMV, but this is true for the most part. There are variances from cream to cream and soap to soap. I'd look at your angle and pressure if your getting razor burn. Also, make sure your doing a good prep....etc...

I think the creams vs soap thing is just personal preference...

I use AOS creams from time to time...Not the soap, I'd wager the cream has a stronger fragrance, but I'm not 100% sure....

    Hope this helps...
