So my folks went on one of those two week cruises down the Rhine river. I'll admit to having given them a list of soaps and creams that I didn't want to pay shipping on. This is what they gave me today. I'm really hoping for some MWF or that ilk for my birthday in July.

    Hello, bharner:

I agree with my friend Zib. Those soaps are classics with a good reputation. I used them once or twice years ago and they must have left a good impression with me. A good gift, indeed.

    Regards,

    Obie

I just got those, was talking about and the markup when they get imported to the states over in cork sniffin'. Great creams for how cheap they are and as obie says, they're classics, with good reason. I have 4 or 5 high end soaps and creams and i find myself using these and ingrams daily now. The ingrams is also incredible

My dad's favourites I might add. He swears by Palmolive shave cream here in the UK and likes to get the odd tube of Kaloderma or Nivea both from Germany when he goes to mainland Europe. Not a bad cream Palmolive but I prefer the soap stick. Dirt cheap and superb lather.

I was at a neighbor's house last night and I saw a tube of the Palmolive shave cream up on their bathroom shelf. I put a little bit of that pearly mixture on my finger and rubbed it on my cheek. Very nice stuff I must say!

I finally got to shave with it tonight. My mom said they paid about 4 euros total for the two boxes. It provides gobs of cushion and glide. It's not quite one of Al's bombs, but it's second only to it IMLE.

I had a shave with this today, after my little ingrams love fest and i agree, it's awesome cream and a nicely understated smell to it also. It's not a "great for the price" type cream, it's just a great cream full stop
