    Default New Soap/Cream Suggestions

Well, with the end of The Gentleman's Quarter (or so it seems) I am in need of a new soap/cream to fill those shoes. pretty big shoes to fill. I have used T&H 1805 and shall again, but I'm looking for something naturally made with a warm woodsy mossy scent. Please leave your suggestions in this thread for me.

With your scent requirements in mind I would go with Martin De Candre. While it may be expensive with shipping I guarantee it will last over a year with daily shaving!

That's an option. Anybody have something more economical to suggest?

    Hey X,

Have you tried L'Occtitane's Cade shaving soap? The price is more than reasonable, and it's very highly recommended (by me, and several others I'm sure )

That's a tough one. Very clean and pleasant, perhaps more "herby" than "woodsy".

From L'Occitane: "A traditional shaving soap, enriched with our purifying Cade essential oil complex, nourishing Shea Butter, cold cream and macadamia nut oil. Wild juniper, called “CADE”, grows in the dry Provencal hillsides. Based on cade's antiseptic and strengthening properties,".

I know you're interested in scents here, but I'd use Cade no matter what it smelled like.

You CAN'T go wrong with Straight Razor Designs [SRD]'s brand soaps, I've tried several and they all delivered and the price was easy on my U.S. Gov't check income and budget!!

    Really, their good.

Hmmm have you checked out Mama bearīs soaps? Very nice scents there, im sure you will find something "woodsy" and they are well worth their price.
