    Castle Forbes Lime cream tub

    Dr. Harris Arlington cream tub

I'm a ShaveCream kind of guy only

Don't like soaps - only use Clinique face and body soap in the shower

CHSeifert, my good man, some things are important in life and that includes a hearty stash of quality shave creams. Well done and happy lathering.

Which shaving soaps have you tried? There's plenty fantastic soaps out there

But you are well set with creams for a few years now.

Only tried a cheap classic Tabac shave Soap and one from Pro De Provence. Problem is I already use face soap in the shower (Clinuque) - so why use again in front of the mirror shaving

That makes little sense really, shaving cream is soap as well you know.
Both used with a brush to create lots of nice lather. Shaving cream is easier to use mostly though, but you are missing out dismissing soaps!

You should really try one of the new SRD brand soaps. The sandalwood SRD soap that I have lathers as well as my TOBS and it performs a little better too. It has very nice lubricating properties. It lathers up more easily than most soaps I've tried. It's almost as fast as a cream.
    Good price too.
If you only try one soap, get an SRD soap.
