Default What smells like you just left the barber?

I've tried two different soaps, a generic from Rite-Aid which I threw out and Tabac Original.

I really like the smell of Tabac Original, it makes me feel like I literally walked out of the barber shop every time I shave. However, I then put on Nivea Sensative Post Shave Balm and the smell of the Tabac is gone.

Any suggestions on what to use to keep that fresh from the barber smell? I am up for a different Post Shave Balm or a different soap and balm combo, anything.

    Thanks!

I always find Floid Blue has the "barber shop" scent, followed by Proraso. Both unlike Tabac, but good none the less...

Shaving soap and after shave balms doesn't linger much. What you are looking for is Pinaud Clubman.

Get some Tabac cologne and apply it after you apply your asb. That way you can continue that Tabac barbershop smell.

+1 on the clubman as and tabac cologne, I have them both and it does smell just like leaving a barbershop (at least from what I can remember from going with my dad when I was young)

The scents that remind me of barbershops are talc, Consort for Men hairspray and Clubman original.

Thanks all! I'll try the Tabac Cologne.

I love Clubman especially the powder but the wife doesn't like the smell. I used to have almost every Clubman product made till she told me she didn't like the smell. She probably doesn't like the Tabac smell either but hasn't said anything because it doesn't linger very long. I'll soon find out with the cologne.

If she just doesn't like the barber smell at all then I'll have to list her in the trade ads.

I concur! Pinaud Clubman's smell lasts quite a while and you almost see in black and white for a while after using it it's so old school smelling!
It reminds me of my Dad when I was little.

Clubman Pinaud always reminds me of getting a haircut in a Barber shop.
