I have been delighted by their scents, but dramatically underwhelmed by their lather. YMMV, see how it works for you, with your water, etc.

I've heard mixed reviews as well, especially about the Wool Fat.
We have assumed control !

Thanked: 13245I have used quite a few of their soaps, they do smell good, the lather for me is rather just OK, but my water is pretty harsh on soaps alone...
I use these with abandon in Überlathers... I haven't bought any in at least 4 years so my review might be way off...

Okay, so I tried both soaps. I tried them as on-the-face lathers and in a bowl and mixed with two different kinds of shaving creams and as an uberlather with glycerin drops. Bottom line, I like the regular soap much better than the wool fat but I was not able to produce the kind of lather from either I've gotten with my Muhle soap. The wool fat soap was especially hard to get a lather but it did work of course. I really like the smell of the rose soap but the Arabian spice is almost overwhelming. So, overall, not bad but not great. I'd recommend the regular soap if one of the scents appeals to you but I would not recommend the wool fat. Looking forward to trying others. Next up on the short list, MWF and Dr Harris...
