Palmolive is one of those soaps that should be in everybody's rotation regardless of price in my opinion. Nice clean scent and it does what it says on the erm...stick, and it does it very well. Good stuff indeed

I know this is an old thread but damn I gotta say, I just tried the Palmolive shave stick yesterday after seeing some members mention it favourably, and it is such a great soap. I was not expecting a lot from it because it is €0.65 for 50g stick(Tesco Ireland) , but it is really really good. E.g I find MWF very easily dries out and that's an expensive soap but this stuff is just superb in comparison and for the price, wow, cant praise it highly enough! Definitely something everyone should have in the cabinet!

Palmolive GUT is one of the little known best shaving soaps ever created IMO.
Is an ebay seller from the U.K. who also has a website (cannot find the link I order a case of 10 sticks a year for less than 20 USD delivered.

Yea, I can believe they are good based on my experience of their shave cream. There are a couple of places in Canada that it cab be ordered from. It is on my list.

Bit of a rip off if you ask me...£2.70(€3.16) for 2 compared to €1.30 for 2?

Yep, totally agree. 50p or 49p each depending on which supermarket you purchase from over here.

Are we having a contest for the biggest rip? :-) I can walk into the Merz Apothecary around the corner and buy it, but it's $4 a stick!

Well if we were having a competition I think you just won haha! Thats unreal! Although still worth it if you ask me, its a fine soap

Now there is a contradiction - a rip off, but worth it! I am not making much sense
