i took the plunge and bought some tabac last week. and now 3 shaves later my thoughts:

i really enjoy the smell of tabac, its more musky then any of my other scents. not overly powerful and chemically smelling. subtle and nice. i like the smell

it makes nice lather, a tad less thick then other soaps/creams that i have but overall not bad.

the shave it gives is fair. im not overly impressed after 3 shaves with the moisturing quality or protection i get from it. ill have to give it another week of testing before i make up my mind, i hope it grows on me. its better then my col. conk soap but doesn't hold a candle to my QEDman soap for qualities of lather/moisture/protection.

I really dig tabac soap as well
The scent seems to last very long when combined with my dkny aftershave and smells really nice (to me at least ). The use of the aftershave with the soap together is what seems to do it for me though, the soap alone isn't a big hit but the 2 together somehow is fireworks.

addendum: those 'soap refills' I was talking about turned out to be shaving sticks, it just wasn't labeled as such on the box, but they're true shaving sticks that you can push out (and back in) to use.

I use my Tabac aftershave as a cologne. It's too strong for me on the face... Oh, I LOVE the smell of Tabac products, too...

    Default Tabac

Yup, if I could only have one, Tabac would be it. Wore the aftershave and EDC today. Love it.
