Thanked: 0I'm REALLY enjoyed RAZOROCK XXX.. $9.99 is a pretty decent price.. and after trying Proraso, Cella, MWF, Williams, Tabac etc.. it's been my favourite to shave with. Proraso lathers up almost as well, but not quite as slick.. and I enjoy the scent of XXX a bit more.
PS. I have to say this.. I feel like Tabac smells like an old dirty urinal cake. There, I said it.

I would say MWF for soap and Proraso for cream. Both are inexpensive and offer nice performance. MWF seems to last forever, and you get a lot of Proraso in the tube.
If you ever see Bath and Body Works having one of their sales "Buy any item and get any other item $10 or less for free," go over and buy some $1 gift bags with a free tube of the Bigelow branded Proraso. (Assuming the Bigelow is still under $10 and they still do those sales.)

They're currently running a buy 2 get 1 free sale, three big tubes of Proraso for $20 seems like a pretty good deal if you're going to be using it anyway.

Thanked: 11For a cream try The Real Shaving Co creams if you see them around. A very tiny amount makes a huge pile of lovely lather. Really thick and easy to whip up. Or just use Prorasso soaps. Those 2 products are what I use most.

Thanked: 62Kiss My Face cream's offer great bang for the buck. Cella is inexpensive and is, for me, a great performer. Arko makes great lather but smells like a#%!
