It's so nice to live in a country with the largest supply of fresh water in the world

Unfortunately we also have the coldest winters in the world, after Siberia

You Canadians!! Fresh water, intelligent environmentalists (just heard a presentation from David Suzuki, he's out here at the moment)!! But just before you get too smug just remember where Nickelback came from HUH!!! How do you explain that one?? Not so perfect now are we??

It's funny looking out on a perfect 25 degree day, the sun is out, not a cloud in the sky, you're lying on the beach and you say..... Gee I wish it was raining.

As far as soaps go, I started with the Wahl shaving cream, then got the same deal from Tony with one of his strops. That just finished up and I have some soap I bought from the shavershop which is made just round the corner from my house, so I think I'll stick with that for a while.

If I moved to Australia, I'd have a desert landscape in my yard and the lowest electrical bill in the nighborhood. I don't even think about turning on the a/c unless they forecast 5+ days in a row with 35+ degrees.
I could even live with some of NB's older stuff, but the real war crimes we commited are Rita McNeil and Celine Dion

Don't worry mate, we've committed a few crimes against humanity in the music stakes as well, but I'm not sure if many of them made it offshore.

Does this mean *you* might think about defecting to us?

I'll give you that one. Nickelback sucks, but what about Silverchair??? Frog Stomp?? At least our crappy music *stars* can keep a full meal down!

As for hellish Canadian music "talent", you're forgetting Canada's Songbird, Ann Murray. Somebody shoot me now. (FYI, Josh, Joe, Bill, just joking. Put the guns down.)

Hey now! I've got some great memories of growing up with the Ann Murray sound. "I'm up on... top of the wor-ld lookin'....down on creation and the only explanation I can find....is the love that I found....ever since you've been around...Your love puts me at the top of the world"

Hang on, that's the Carpenters. Did Anne Murray cover that one?

Silverchair's a good call - and I can say that because I now no longer live in Newcastle (Silverchair bashing is a hanging offence in Newcastle). Don't know Frog Stomp - can you hum a bar or two?

(Sorry, it's 5am and I'm not sure I'm awake yet.)

    James.
