I thought Lynn's DVD was brilliant, very informative but I couldn't watch him shave because he left the tap running while he was doing it. At our house I'm the water Nazi and he would have had a stern talking to had he have shot that scene in our bathroom

Thanked: 1587Yes, I'm the same. Buckets in the shower, buckets in the sink, another water tank on order. Our plants are getting covered in my shaved-off stubble! (that's not bad for them, is it? )

Your stubble could technically be considered mulch for your garden. You may be entitled to a rebate on shaving gear
I heard on the news that Brisbane was on the toughest restrictions ever enforced in Australia. Is anyone actually being fined for breaching these restrictions or are they like Victorian ones where they seem to be an idle threat?

They're not an idle threat, but they're a practical impossibility to enforce. So, we've had ministers on the news encouraging people to "dob in a neighbour". Luckily, I'm sort of rural and my neighbours are pretty water-wise. Rain predicted for the weekend<This signature intentionally left blank>

Firstly I shave with one of Tony`s soaps ,i ordered a strop a while back ,one of his seconds and he unexpectedly chucked in some soap which was a great surprise and much appreciated . just quietly if this strop is a second his top quality must be something to behold ,this one works exceptionally well.
Second question
we have to supply our own water ,we are on tanks and if I want to water the garden and wash the car I bloody well will
Kind regards Peter
PS I know that sounds arrogant but we are carefull with water any way always have beenLast edited by bg42; 11-03-2006 at 07:02 AM.

Thanked: 1587No, I don't think that sounds arrogant. If you're smart and conscientous enough to save your own water it's nobodys business how you use it.
The reason I asked about your soap was that I've never tried anything but the Wahl traditional barber's shaving cream - I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on your latest purchase when it comes in.
