My first post in this section of the forum.

Just came home from serbia, Belgrade, where i was on a WeekEnd trip, so I grabbed whatever there was on the shelf in the first shop.

I'm not sure about either cream, especially the Pears, but Nivea has a good reputation. I'm a fan of their aftershave balms. Just check the packaging to make sure they aren't brushless creams or non-lathering products, they should be fine.

I haven't used or read a lot about Nivea cream, but I expect it would be similar to Arko creams, in that it would be a decent performer with a modern scent.

We do have Nivea shave cream readily available here in Canada. I don't know if it is the same formula as in Europe and the packaging is different too. I do use it fairly regularly and find it works well either face or mug lathering and no overpowering scent. Really surprised you can't find the Nivea in Sweden as it is made in Germany, at least the stuff here is. I am also using Nivea aftershave balm. The Peer shave cream is a complete unknown to me. We do have Pear hand soaps. Is Peer and Pear the same company?

+1 here. I've used Nivea's after shave balm. Good stuff, I'd imagine the shave cream isn't bad. Let us know...

Thanks for clarifying who makes Peer, will have to look for some next time I am over to try. I was going to ask what was available to you but you have answered that too.

Most decent blue and aged cheeses contribute to Gout Attacks. Not a good idea.

Well it didn't enter under the 'Cheese' topic. Site seems to be having problems today!
