Thread: New Proraso...has anyone tried it yet? What about Muhle or Dovo shave soap/cream?

I just ordered a couple tubs of the New Proraso in the green tub from a Ebay vendor in the UK since I can't find any here in the US and just wanted to see if anyone has tried it out. From what I understand, all they did was take out the paraban (i think that's wax). Hope it's shaves the same as it's what I use as my "base" to base everything else off of.

What about Muhle Sea Buckhorn or Dovo Eucalyptus? Ordered a tub of each for something new...as you can tell, my shave soap was getting low.

It's been a while since I shaved with the original green, but if memory serves, this new batch is even better. I purchased it a few weeks ago and keep going back to it. I think I'm going to buy the aftershave too. I can't wait for the red tube to get to Canada!

I haven't tried the others you picked up. Let us know how it goes.

Just order it from the UK like I did from the bay, I did order the aftershave too...will have to get back with you on that once I get it in.

The new red tube is available in Canada but only at Italian Barber:

i tried the green stuff and the sandalwood. both were the new formulas and i loved them! they are just as great as the old stuff but they dont have the bad ingredients now! you can get it all at Italian Barber Online Shaving Supplies in canada

Did they just add that? I just ordered the green tube about a week or week and a half and I missed it.

I might have to order up some red tube proraso to try.... Ive got the green tube and love it!

I only have the new Sandalwood so far but think the new formulas were very well done. Looking forward to trying the new white and greens...

Did you find a local source for the new Proraso stuff or did you have to order online?

I'm a little hesitant to order another tub, since my original tub is almost 4 years old and is still going strong!

Yes they added it soon after the green stuff. I missed it as well but i am a huge fan of proraso and had to order the red stuff as well
