I would have to disagree. I have very hard water here in southern ontario and i am able to get MWF to lather up fine with very hot water. But i have heard of many issues with hard water

Around here, without a water softener, the shower head needs replaced every 6 months. Very hard water.

I do love the MWF as well. In fact, these last couple weeks, I've been using it more and more in my rotation. Sometimes with a boar, but more often with a bit of a prickly badger....good, good times!
