Sandalwood
Well gents - it's the end of an era lol. My AoS sandalwood cream has come to its inevitable demise.
BUT:
I still have a ton of the aftershave left! Plus the AoS sandalwood soap I bought to make the Uberlathers with. So my question is - what can I match it up with? I know I could just finish the AS off using the soap or replace the cream but that's not as much fun. I was thinking something woodsy.
Any ideas?

Well if ur looking for sandalwood QED sandalwood soap is the best smelling sw i have smelled. If ur looking for a cream trumpers is nice, if ur ubering with the aos soap, proraso sw could be good to uber with because the scent for me lacks but performance is outstanding.

Thanks for the reply watermark!
Yeah you know - why not another sandalwood. I have been wondering about that new Proraso - that's a good idea! I was going to do the Spencer & Devon being new and American. I'll flip a coin lol.

I think you'll like the sagebrush. It's kinda woodsy, you can smell, sage and pine, it does smell like it's mentholated to me. It should pair up nicely with the sandalwood soap. I like the smell of TOBS Sandalwood shave cream or Nanny's, AOS, CF and EJ. I think for ubering, I like EJ the best. It's mellow, not too loud, and let's the soap come through....

The Proraso Sandalwood is a great cream, and I highly recommend it. If you are considering it, just be aware that it s a fairly pure sandalwood scent, not a cologne one like AOS (and most other creams and soaps for that matter).

Thanked: 603You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.
