    Default Creed Green Irish Tweed

Anyone use this soap? Just started with it and I am loving it! Great lather with just a touch of water ratio playing. The scent????? Well it's Green Irish Tweed. Awesome! Glide, cushion, lather, slickness all very comparable to MDC. I would have to put this in my top 5 for sure. Right with La Toja, MDC, Razo Rock Italian Artisan Limited Ed, Penhaligans, T&H, TOBS etc.
Does it cost? Yup!! Will I buy it again? You bet ya! Now I need to get the Santal....

    Paul,

Thanks for the heads up on this one, I wasn't aware that Creed made a shaving soap. Where abouts did you find it?

It can be bought online from creed or Neumann markus. Or go there. Ryan, you'll love this one!

I have the Original Vetiver as I find the scent more appealing. But as far as performance goes its right up there with MdC. I use it as my Sunday soap which is special for me.

It's definitely a keeper as the way it leaves the face afterwards is simply amazing.

I guess this is really a case of YMMV. I had a sample of the soap and was extremely disappointed with it. The scent is very true to the original, but the performance for me was subpar. It certainly did not perform so well as to justify the steep price tag...

You may be right but from experience when it comes to soaps you really have to try the 'whole thing' in order to see for yourself if it works or not. I couldn't lather up a sample of a soap given the size of my brushes, so I prefer to do a purchase or see if I can something in the classifieds area going cheap.

The "sample" I had was actually a pass around on another forum where I had the whole puck to work with. I don't disagree with your point. It's just another example of YMMV, IMHO...

I've used the mama bears version but I do want to try the creed. I've also been wanting to try the creed Vetiver soap (and Cologne), since I recently found out I love Vetiver
