Dr Harris vs AOS Ocean Kelp
I finally got around to getting some DR Harris products (well, all of em)
. Short story shorter... AOS ripped off DR Harris!!! This stuff smells EXACTLY like AOS Ocean Kelp. Anyone else have both of these?

Thanked: 1195Thanks. Can't say that I've tried the Ocean Kelp, but I do have Arlington. To me it smells very citrus based, lemon in particular. I have the cologne too, and I really don't detect any hints of musk, fern, or spice that Basenoters claim. Is that somewhat comparable to the AoS OK?

Ryan, It is exactly like AOS Ocean Kelp.
The Harris lathers great unlike the AOS. I will be gifting it away forthwith!!!

AoS was bought out by P&G a couple of years ago. No wonder they can't create anything original!!

I use the DR Harris products, they really are good. Top notch stuff. I have (among others) The Arlington shave cream in a tube. When it comes to citrus based soaps, you'll find many that are similar. Some try deliberately to change it up a bit, Take T&H Key West Lime, not your average lime, but with a hint of spice. It's one of those creams you either love or hate, like TOBS Avocado.

Oh, I like it. And I have many citrus based soaps, but this stuff is exactly like AOS Ocean Kelp in scent. If I were DR Harris , I'd be PO'd.

Thanked: 12I have the Arlington soap and have used the AOS ocean kelp, but they don't smell the same, IMO. I think I actually like the Arlington scent better.
