Just tried mamabearssoaps.com again and got the same warning from Trend Micro supplied by our service provider. Could very well be a false positive but I did not continue anyway. Oh well.

I just submitted an order of my favorite Dragon Blood and a bunch of shave soap samples to identify a new favorite. She has a nice buffalo horn lather bowl that I added to the order. Doing my part to keep her going. :-)

I fired off a order awhile ago and had no problems.

Hmmm... If she is thinking of closing it's likely due to personal issues and not financial. She is much loved by the wetshaving community, so I couldn't see it being a lack of customers. Best of luck to Sue either way...

I have Trend as well and got the same warning. I know her site is reputable, I just hope it hasn't been infected somehow.....?

BTW, I love her soaps, Just by chance, I've been using them all week. It's been a while, I forgot how good they are...I'd hate to see go, but I'm well stocked....

I wrote my friend Sue Clark of Mama Bear about this rumor of shutting down the store and have not heard from her yet. I'll keep you apprised.

Last I saw she was moving to another state? I think the shut down will be just for a short time.

I added mama bear to my Facebook. She has made many posts this past week or two that she is making soaps of various kinds and other products. Sounds like something happened, a move or what ever, and she's getting the stock replenished. hope this helps.

The order I placed last week arrived today - can't wait to try them out

Edit: just had my first shave with a Mama Bear soap (Canadian Spruce Needle - yeah, the name kind of got me) and holy cow is that ever a nice soap! It was like a lather explosion.
