Thanked: 45I find soaps & creams the most addicting part of the hobby. I could shave every day for a month and a half, and not repeat. If I include the samples, I could go well over 2 months. There are still many, many I want to try. I've come to the sad realization that most of what I have will probably go bad before I can use it all up.

Amen brother! I find myself in the same place. Just one more soap/cream I say to myself when I order my latest "must try" item. Problem is that a soap is relatively cheap compared to razors or hones. Then again l do love lots to choose from and every night it takes me a while decide on that nights cream and or soap.

Well the samples came in and I believe at least this will lead me to the flavors I prefer.

Thanked: 0Here's one attempt to rationalize SAD. No problem in collecting many different soaps....the fear is - what if I really don't like it, then what? What a waste of money. Not really. What I have done with pucks that I really don't care for as a shaving soap, I "demote" to a hand-washing soap. So far it's worked out good for the pucks I've demoted. They lather nicely, and usually have ingredients to protect the skin, so it's extra good soap for the winter/dry season. One could demote to a shower soap too.
There! Now we can go buy more pucks!!
