And btw of all the aquisition disorders... i think soap is the least harmful to your bank account :P
I agree with you, the SAD is the less harmful, I can accept that I "suffer" from this. LOL

It all started innocent enough. A puck of bay rum Col Conk soap my first ever "hit" ie soap. After hanging around undesirable web forums ummmm SRP I got onto TOBS sandalwood soap.. then a couple of TOBS creams (Love Lemon & Lime BTW) then Castle Forbes, then D.R. Harris, then GFT, then TABAC and then of course I had to try the MWF and then ....

    Well you get the picture

    Gentlemen,
There are so many glorious soaps and creams out there that resisting the experience at first is futile. After a while, after trying one after another, some find a permanent spot in the shave den. And that's how it seems to work. At least it did for me, anyway. As for the Taylor of Old Bond Street soap in question, it is good stuff.

Just give in to the various AD's. Resisting will lead to binges.

Well the samples came in and I believe at least this will lead me to the flavors I prefer.

Just sheer curiosity I skipped the lemon and lime (Lemon being my all time favorite Scent). Because I was told it was very synthetic in smell and wasn't very good for skin... is this purely myth?

Well the TOBS came in today and the first thing I noticed was its smell. Unlike the Classic which is very faint if not almost non-existent in comparison. The smell was nothing like I expected. I was hesitant at ordering it as I was thinking it might be too floral for my taste. When I got to smell it, what I noticed was Cedar with a hint of Lavender. Hell I might toss the Classic as this scent is amazing. Also I found that SRD has a sample pack of 12 scents so I have ordered it just so I can see what is out there for relatively cheap.

I won't deny it I guess. My hope though is that the sample pack will show me the scents I do like so I can experiment with different companies with the same scent.
