I agree - a fantastic shaving soap, Miklagard is my favorite as well, but have used about 4 different scents and liked them all. I hear Pasteur's in NYC on W34th is selling it (just a few blocks from where I work) but haven't had a chance to check it out yet. SRD used to sell it, and I got several jars for $16 apiece when they discontinued carrying it..
Ordered 3 pucks from Norway, along with deoderant (not so great) and some soaps( great), but the shipping was almost as much as the products. Can't justify that too often.

I have the bay rum and the scent is top notch. I think it's very good soap but not quite to the level of MDC or Castle Forbes but those soap are at the very top of the heap so the bar for me is really high.

    Hi Dave

Again, the "trick" would be to buy for the amount needed to get free shipping. My guess would be the best way to do this would be to combine the purchase with others, or simply stock up rather hard on one buy.

I have long considered these soaps, but with such a huge puck of MdC at home (since 2010) I am having trouble justifying another soap purchase...

Can anyone give a comparison of the Fitjar with the MdC? What about the various scents of these available? Thanks!
