Thread: Taylors of Old Bond street Sandalwood.....drys out too quickly

I had tried the Devon & Spencer shaving cream after I saw their link on SRP. I bought the unscented variety since my wife doesn't care much for scents. The D&S produced great lather and is very rich. I enjoyed it and just ordered it in their sandalwood scented version (sorry, dear, but sometimes a guy's gotta try something new). Can't speak to it since I haven't gotten it yet but will post after I give it a try.

I'm currently going through a bunch of Edwin Jagger shaving cream samples, and I must say I love their sandalwood, although it is slightly crispier and a bit more complex in scent than the TOBS sandalwood. In any case not a pure sandalwood by any means, but I haven't found it drying out and I'm a slow shaver. Plenty of moisturising and an all-round high quality product, in my opinion.

By the way, do Spencer & Devon have a sandalwood scent? I thought they only had spice, sagebrush and unscented.
