I've never used the stuff however every time I see a thread about it I'm reminded of some cheap horror movie I once saw where they used macca root to turn people into zombies. I keep picturing Obie with those big bulbous eyes mindlessly shuffling around.

I have this in my regular rotation along with the balm. Very little scent to me. Reasonable lather and shave but, you know what, there are many more interesting creams and aftershaves out there. So, while it's not a bad product it ain't very interesting. I'll probably finish the tube but replace it with something else.

I have a tub of this. It works good and I don't mind the scent. I get good shaves from it, and that's what counts.

I couldn't resist having a The Body Shop store near me, and picked up the 200g tub, the scent is good, not too overpowering. I will test drive it tomorrow and tell what I think about it.

One of the first shaving creams I tried, decent to good performance, but I'm not paying €19 (~$25) for 200ml or €13 (~$17) for 100 ml of decent stuff. Body Shop around here mainly has sales on body butters, I've never seen any 2 for 1 in Finland. At least where I live it is terribly overpriced, but then again it is one of the very few (I've counted four so far) traditional shaving soaps available in stores (b&m as well as 'locally' online) here.

Yeah, let us know what you think; I really like it; I like the scent, I've read that it's likened to freshly cut grass; and I think that too. It's REALLY easy to lather; you really need only a tiny bit. I use it in the tube, very easy to use.

I tested this cream on thursday morning but I was away for the weekend, now I'm back. I loved this cream, the lather is extremely easy to produce with a very small amount, it does not dry, very thick and slick. IMHO it is a top performer, and very fairly priced!

The Body Shop Maca Root is very good but honestly I like the Original a smidge better, I have been hoading the last half of the tub quite well
