These are all pretty easy to lather, great glide & cushion and smell pretty good, and have a very reasonable price point all being at or less than $10

I'm still stuck on the Taylor of Old Bond Street sandalwood cream - the smell takes me back to my childhood....

Has anyone tried the Body Shop stuff?

I haven't tried The Body Shop, but the guys that use it seem to like it. TOBS Sandalwood is awesome. I love the fragrance. I bought the bath soap, and the Luxury after shave gel....Good stuff.

I also like TOBS Avacado. It has a very fresh fragrance, but it's one of those that you either love or hate.

A year and a half into the straight shaving thing, and I noticed I haven't tried that many (hurray for samples though).

    My favourites so far though:

    - St. James of London Cedarwood & Clarysage (sadly discontinued)
    - Edwin Jagger Sea Buckthorn
    - Edwin Jagger Sandalwood

I have tried two Taylor of Old Bond Street creams, Sandalwood and Lemon & Lime. Good performance, but I'm not huge on their scents. They lack crispness, in my opinion.

Castle Forbes Lavender is next on the list (after I finish the Lemon & Lime), and with my St James of London running low I have to start thinking about some warm, clean, woodsy fragranced shaving cream. Although I might go Edwin Jagger Sandalwood for that one.

The Maca Root Shaving cream from The Body Shop is the top of my list, a top performer and fairly priced, you should give it a go!
