Forgot to mention it's even better after a shower with the plain green bar of Palmolive hand soap, double fresh at dirt cheap prices!
The other con I can think of would be the use of palm oil. It's in a whole load of things these days and often doesn't come from sustainable sources (I think Palmolive fall foul of this). Draw your own conclusion there of course, just saying like...

Not my favourite stick in the scent department but it's performance is beyond question. And at the ridiculously low price it sells for here, a stick nobody should be without.

Thanked: 32How would you guys rate the Palmolive in comparison to Arko and Derby soap sticks? I have tried the Arko and Derby but not the Palmolive yet.

For the scent alone, I would take the Palmolive any day of the week. I would say the Turkish sticks are slightly softer and easier to lather but there really isn't too much difference from my experience of the three. And even if you don't like the Palmolive, you won't have lost much.

They're pretty good shaving sticks, I think. Perhaps not at the level of the Valobra or La Toja sticks, but good consistent shaves. Recently I grated one with a cheese grater, pressed it into a dish and use it like a regular soap. Also good that way
