    Default Violet

What is your favorite Violet cream or soap and why? I am wanting to try some but want to know who makes the best ones.

    Thanks

    QED Violetta shaving soap
Why? Because it has an intense violet smell... sweet, but not overly so. Oh! It also lathers and lubricates like an SOB.

+1 on the above, Trumper's Violets.
Loved that scent the day I tried it. Cream or soap, both have equally superb violet notes. Trumpers does it again!

Wishful thinking, my friend; Castle Forbes makes Cedarwood & Sandalwood, Lavender, and Lime shaving creams, but no Violet.

I'm a big Trumpers fan as well, my only complaint is that I wish they would ease up on the dyes a bit. No cream should ever have to be that heavily pigmented.

Do the heavy dyes affect in any way the brush? Because I want to try the GFT cream, but I'm a bit worried about my brushes.
