    I like the RazoRock Chianti Lavender. It's a pungeant and spicy French lavender scent.

    I'll chime in and suggest Monsavon as the el cheapo option. You'll need to source it from France somehow, but it is a great performer with tallow.

    The other two I will mention you've already been recommended but definitely worthy of a second mention: Castle Forbes Lavender and also Martin de Candre (though as already mentioned it has other ingredients in it).

    One final one to suggest is Czech and Speake's Oxford and Cambridge. A great performer too, also with tallow, the Lavender is meant to be a mix of English and French.

    I second the CF Lavender. Its an amazing soap and lathers GREAT!
