I heard the guy that designs this soap likes to double up on the EO's which has made for some excellent results..........

    Have fun

Al's Shaving "Bomb" in custom Vetiver - if you want a truly loud vetiver scent, tell him to make like Max likes...
And, for a vetiver shaving soap, QED Vetiver

I own, and use, both products, and I recommend them without reservation.

The real question is: Which vetiver after-scents to use? My seasonal recommendations...

    • Summer: Guerlain Vetiver
    • Fall: L'Occitane Eau de Vetyver
    • Winter: Maitre Perfeumer et Gantier Route du Vetiver
    • Spring: Carolina Herrera Sensual Vetiver

Waiting for the bank to approve my home equity line a long time. Seems my reason for taking the line of credit, "to buy Creed stuff," wasn't too well received. However, I will feel much better knowing that I have 10 years to pay for the stuff.

Forgot to mention that I too bought L'Occitane Vetyver cologne a few months ago. Damn this stuff is good. It seems to be absolutely irresistible to any woman over 80. Yahoo..............

I have to give another vote for Straight Razor Designs (SRD) vetiver shaving soap. This is pure vetiver at it's best.

At the 2012 meet I fell in love with the SRD Vetiver this year its still amazing and has taken the place of vanilla bourbon as my go to soap.
No that pistol isn't the only thing under my kilt, but I can tell you both of them work just fine

I recommend SRD Vetiver which I recently tried. I've always liked the essential oil, I keep a bottle at home. The smell is very present, and lathers great. It's a keeper for me.

Using a sample of SRD Vetiver now. A great performer like all SRD soaps, but it has a black pepper (?) component to the scent that I'm on the fence about. It is better than the other vetiver soap I tried which smelled like wet dirt/celery. I can't remember which artisan soap that was. Vetiver is like bay rum. So many variations, I'm not sure what the true scent is.

FWIW: L'Occitane Vetyver is my only cologne.
