Thread: Dove for shave soap

I read a post by jimmyhad a while back that he used dove to shave for years.

My dad used to use ivory bar soap.

I have to say that having tried Dove as a bath soap, my skin dried-up and felt very tight afterwards. I am not sure what caused that but I do know that my skin is fairly dry indeed. So much for Dove's "1/4 moisturising cream" marketing hype. I generally stay away from this brand and wouldn't advise it be used as a shaving soap.
