I'm actually happy I ended up with a 50g jar, with how many soaps and creams I currently have I barely make a dent in any of them, so I'm sure it will last...

Thanked: 13Been using the Fougere this week exclusively and loving it. I wouldn't be able to tell the difference in the performance between this and the regular scent, btw. I don't think there is a difference. Both are first rate and the liveliness and crispness of both scents make them especially great summer soaps.
Lately, I've been lathering them up with a soaked brush in which most of the water is shaken out and then slowly adding after the loading. If you go at it with a really wet brush, then you get an explosion of protolather that just gets wasted.

Thanked: 5Thanks for including this, Howard! I've been reading up / stocking up on soaps lately, but somehow didn't know that FOUGERE existed. After a quick search & taking a look at some of those reviews, I'm on the pre-order list too! I've loved my couple weeks with MdC, and this scent seems very promising.

i originally made the mistake of using a fully wet brush on my MdC when i first got it....thinking it would be similar to mikes...and i was wrong....all i had was a sloppy mess. an almost dry brush is the key to this soap.
i wont make that mistake again. mdc rocks! i also like how easily it washes away from my bowl/face/brush.
