Smile Just tried Martin de Candre Soap for the 1st time..Wow!

So after reading all the raving reviews on this soap, I broke down and ordered mine, all the way from France, and tried it out a few days ago....Wow! Truly one of my favorites after only a few uses. I still can't believe how the lather just explodes from a soap! The scent is very pleasant as well, but the performance is truly amazing. The cushion it provided was just plain awesome! I can't say enough good things about it. MWF will still remain up near the top, but MdC is moving in on you buddy!

MdC is just plain and simple the best soap ever made and by a mile! It's great on sensitive skin too.

My brush just looks at the soap and it starts to lather!!

Used MdC last evening. I agree, it's certainly a "top shelf" soap and something to look forward to.

When you look at the minimal ingredients used to make the soap it's amazing how they are able to produce on of the best shaving soap in the world. For my sensitive skin it performs flawless.

Yea, it's one of a select group along with X-pec and C&S and CF and a few others that are on the top rung of soaps. It's really a matter of how the scent strikes you to classify one over the other.

After reading the rave reviews myself I bought a tub from a member here and have never regretted it. The hype is well deserved.

    Gentlemen,
Martin de Candre is one of those sweet wonders that life throws our way from time to time. The soap intoxicates. If I had but one choice for my shave soap, Martin de Candre would be it.

    Sir,
i have to admit that it was one of your previous eloquent reviews that finally pushed me over the edge on my decision to purchase this fine soap. And I am certainly glad I read your review!

    Regards,

    JC
