I may catch flack for this, and mine is no where near as fancy as yalls, but I've been using Williams soap with Every Man Jack Original Mint cream and about 9/10 drops of glycerine. Granted I've not tried the more expensive brands, but this combo works great for me and is cheap as all hell!!

Tried quite a few different combinations of soaps and creams and they all performed pretty well so no real favourites. It is almost a no can loose situation with the scent being the only real difference for me.

MWF + Musgo Real shave cream + 5 drops glycerin = Lanolin Overload...

Also, Tabac Soap + Tabac Shave Cream + 5 drops glycerin

Edwin Jagger Sandalwood shave cream and SRD Sandalwood soap + 5 drops glycerin. You can use any Sandalwood soap and cream. I find
EJ a little weak in the lather dept. so I like to uber it.

The Lanolin Overload! Didn't realise there was a name for it!! That's my other uber, but, seeing as I have for a selection of shaving creams, Musgo Real and Proraso Green, I haven't tried much else. I didn't go with any glycerin with the Musgo, I thought that would be unnoticed given the creamy goodness of the Musgo. I'll have to add a drop or five!
