My New Snurdler
As I sat here perusing various forums, I came across anumber of threads regarding snurdles and snurdle dippers. At first, I found them rather amusing. I thought, "What a great group of wellhumored gentlemen are on this site." But then I saw the dictionary entry posted by Strapped-4- Cash (entry#16 http://straightrazorpalace.com/miscellaneous-shaving-equipment/47200-snurdle-2.html).
GREAT NEPTUNE’S TRIDENT!!! I AM ONE OF THE SNURDLELSS SAVAGES OF WHICH THEY SPEAK!!! NEVER, NOT EVEN ONCE, HAVE I SNURDLED SHAVECREAM PRIOR TO A SHAVE!!!! QUICK!! TO THE WORKSHOP!!!!
I quickly proceeded to my workshop where I found a nice piece of Box Elder. I researched the proper measurements to hold one standard snurdle. I worked feverishly to accomplish the task. After it was fashioned into a proper tool, Ihad it certified by the U.S. Department of Weights and Measures (*pending).
But alas, all I have are soaps, no creams to snurdle. So, I purchased some Spencer & DevonSagebrush shave cream.
Now, I can shave like a proper gentleman. I am complete. There is nothing that I lack.
Er, excuse me a moment. Someone just posted a new thread.
Nuts, I don’t have that. I’ll be right back.Last edited by milehiscott; 01-31-2013 at 05:19 PM. Reason: spelling

That's a nice looking snurlde dipper you've crafted for yourself, mine is nowhere near as nice. I'm sad to say mine is a repurposed ice cream tasting spoon. I can't wait to get the tools and shop unpacked. Looks like I have work to do.

You know what would be cool? A snurdle that retracts through the knot and into the brush handle. That way it's always on hand, and any cream that sticks to it gets pulled right into the hairs. (This idea is copyrighted as of now by me.)
