Thread: Help I cannot pick

Hi all,
So i've been shaving with my straight every day for a fortnight varying the angle and pressure each time and am starting to get some really close smooth shaves.
I've been using the new formulation Proraso red, Trumper coconut, TOBS sandelwood and Truefitt sandelwood creams and I now fancy a go at a soap.
So out of Tabac and MWF, what would people say was the best?
Only have space for the one at the moment as I have creams coming out of my ears. Lol.

My vote goes for Tabac but only because I have not tried MWF

Of the two, I suggest MWF. I just got mine on Saturday and it's incredible stuff. Tabac will work just as well for you in terms of the quality of shave you'll get, but I personally could not get over the smell. It's not for everybody!

Get some Czech and Speake it's great stuff.

My favorite is MWF.

Both are top shelf and both are almost equal IMO except I give MWF the edge for moisturizing qualities and Tabac gets the edge for ease of lathering. In all honesty just pick one for now because there's a very good chance you'll eventually end up with both

Only one soap? Then I will suggest Martin de Candre, without a doubt.

My personal favorite is always DR Harris. I personally prefer Marlborough to the others but Arlington is very nice as well.

I kinda dont get the hype for MWF. Its good ha ha but not my fav out of the 5 or 6 ive tried

MWF is my number 1 and alot of others seem to love it as well. My vote would have to be for MWF...But Tabac is also a great shave soap...I didn't like it too much at first but it really grew on me over time.
